Czym w ogóle jest Food Design? Z informacji na stronie organizatora warsztatów wynika, że jest to projektowanie żywności, diety oraz produkcji i usług branży żywnościowej. Dotyczy to całego procesu - od świadomego wyboru upraw, przez logistykę, aż po ekspozycję. Ekspozycja jest etapem najbardziej widocznym, a co za tym idzie i najbardziej efektownym. Dla mnie Food Design (będę pisać o tym po polsku - projektowanie jedzenia) - głównie do tego się sprowadza i tak rozumiem to pojęcie - to zaaranżowanie jedzenia w ciekawy i zupełnie niestandardowy sposób. O tym będzie dzisiejszy post.
What is Food Design actually? From the information on the organizer website it appears that this is designing food, diet and production or services for food. It refers to whole process -from awarness during choosing crops, through logistics to presentation. Presentation is the most visible and spectacular stage. For me Food Design is all about the exposition and presentation - I understand this conception as a arranging food in and interesting and innovative way. And this post will be about that. Diane Bisson stworzyła jadalne naczynia - które wpisują się w ekologiczny trend, jak i w Food Design. Diane Bisson made edible dishes - which are current because of ecological trend and also Food Design.
Julie Rothhahn tworzy jadalną sztukę. Jej projekty nie wyglądają jak jedzenie - raczej jak małe rzeźby, lub nawet zabawki. Julie Rothhahn makes edible art. Her projects don't look like food - rather like small sculptures or even toys.
Marc Brétillot stworzył nawet swego rodzaju manifest Projektantów Jedzenia. Tu fragment:

Marc Brétillot made some kind of manifesto of Food Designers. Some interesting part:
"What is interesting is to have visions and differing positions, to create new ways of looking at things.(...) Let us add that it is not just a question of aesthetics, it can also be a series of gestures, of showcasing, a concept, written or verbal narration…"

Katja Gruijters is a Dutch designer - she experiments with food and it's form.
Można by bardzo długo o tym pisać i wklejać ciekawe zdjęcia. Zachęcam jednak aby samodzielnie poszukać informacji i zdjęć, a nawet stworzyć własne jadalne dzieła sztuki!
I could write about that for a long time and paste here beautiful and interestint pictures. But I encourage you to search by yourself, and even to create your own edible pieces of art!
